Viva Cerveceros

The story of the denizens of Miller Parkland; the life of brats, beer, women, wine, cervezas and chorizo; basking in the sun and curveball hanging, barrel rolling and Cubs killing.

[Fielder’s] shot went so high the camera man couldn’t keep up with it. It went off the top of the screen. I thought it might go out that weird roof hole they’ve got at Miller Park.
The camera found Reed Johnson running to the wall, suddenly slowing and…giving up. (On the replay, I would see that when I thought he gave up, he really just slowed to gauge the wall.) Then it was kinda like Reed blasted off.
It was a grand slam, and then it wasn’t.
